After implementing the Core Banking Solution, Union Bank of India was looking for a high-speed power encoding solution.

The bank has a volume of around 35,000 to 40,000 cheques / documents and they were using manual encoder.

When it came to converting the entire process to power encoding, the bank freezed the model "CBX 6000V" for its speed, reliability and Kores after sales service.

In fact the bank decided to go in for these machines because the speed of one CBX 6000V is equivalant to almost double that of other desktop power encoders available in the market. The bank not only saved on manpower but also infrastructure cost.

By implementing "SAMAASHODHAN" Clearing solution from Kores, the bank has centralized complete operation thereby improving the overall "Service Bank Operation".

Not only this but Union Bank of India will be in a position to upgrade these machines to image capture. RBI will recommend CBX 6000V at major centers in India.
